Transitioning into parenthood can be thought of as one of the most exciting, challenging, life-changing experiences of our lives. My great passion is helping families throughout the parenting process. I help my clients by listening to their concerns and instilling confidence in their instincts and abilities as loving parents. I have been working with families for over 20 years, and my specialties include Maternal Child Health, Neonatology, and Pediatrics. I launched many Family Education programs, including starting the lactation program for a hospital in Southern Nevada, where we became the 1st Baby-Friendly Hospital in our region. I am also the mom of an incredibly spirited child who honestly has taught me more than I could have ever imagined and is still teaching me every day. As a result, I truly understand the challenges we face as parents, and it is this understanding that allows me to provide care most sensitively. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health License from Mount St. Mary College, where I minored in Psychology. I am also a Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Child Birth Educator.

My specialty is helping those with gut health and illness related to gut health. Many people are unaware of the connection between gut damage and chronic disease—many including various autoimmune disorders, mental health disorders, and simply not feeling well. My primary focus is on healthy lifestyle choices such as nutrition, exercise, and stress management. In addition, I teach my clients the nutritional strategies that I used to heal my gut along with new science-based strategies for improving gut health disorders. In 2019 I completed a training program in Holistic Stress Management and incorporated those learnings into much of the work I do with my clients. I have 500 hours of yoga training, which I use to teach my clients relaxation, breathing, and meditation to relieve stress and reduce discomfort. I help my clients by learning as much as possible about them and their health and lifestyle history, and together we develop goals and sustainable habits to sustain them. Making lifestyle changes can be difficult, and I love to support my clients to make the transition smooth and permanent for long-lasting positive health results.
We provide holistic childbirth education, supporting parents to trust their instincts to experience a more comfortable, empowering birthing experience. Our certified hypnobirthing and childbirth educator will include coaching and education on hypnosis, guided imagery, breathwork, and the development of positive affirmation/visualization surrounding your birth plan. Additionally, as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, our coach can assist mothers and infants experiencing challenges with breastfeeding, such as nursing after breast surgeries, assisting with feeding challenges for babies with a tight frenulum, breastfeeding premature babies, and many other feeding challenges.
Stress is a major contributor to both chronic and acute illness. Stress is in everyone's lives, and some of it is out of our control. However, many things ARE within your control and can be managed with education and lifestyle choices. Our Certified Health Education Specialists can guide you on ways to improve resiliency so that our everyday stress impacts your health less.
It is widely recognized that gut health is the cornerstone of health. When the gut is compromised, we become susceptible to many other illnesses, including autoimmune disease, mental health disorders, chronic fatigue, and overall well-being reduction. Changing your lifestyle and behaviors to support a healthy gut can significantly improve many chronic diseases and improve overall health. As Hippocrates said, "All disease begins in the gut".
